Carey’s deputy managing director, Sara Bourne, said: “Being recognised by industry during what has been another bumper year of innovation in financial services in Guernsey is fantastic. Our specialist and professionally qualified team work very hard to shape legal, regulatory and ethical approaches in partnership with our public clients to meet their listing objectives for the long term. This win is testament to our people and to the strength of our client relationships.”

During the period in question, Carey’s range of work included a new initial public offering on the LSE, taking a company through a premium listing on the LSE, the partial sale of a listed company and the creation and listing for a London listed client of a Luxembourg listed debt issue.

Carey’s profile at the ceremony also included team members Jane de Jersey and Nikolett Mezei being shortlisted for the “Company Secretary of the Year” award and Emma Cunningham and Charlotte Gibson being shortlisted for “Corporate Services Officer of the Year”. Ms Gibson was also shortlisted for “The One to Watch” award.
